    Structural features of the product

CJ12 series AC contactor is of open type, with the plane layout of bars. With electromagnetic system in the right, main contact in the center, and auxiliary contact in the left, it is provided with the rotatable stop gear for easy monitoring and repair.
The magnetic system of the contactor consists of U-shaped moving and static iron cores and coil. Both moving and static iron cores are equipped with buffer devices, which prolongs the service life of the product.
For CJ12Z, the DC magnetic system is adopted.
The main contact system of the contactor adopts a single breakpoint rotating structure, and is equipped with clay arc extinguishing chamber with longitudinal slit, which has good arc extinguishing performance.
The auxiliary contact adopts bridge-type double breakpoints and is provided with the transparent protective cover. The number of normally open and normally closed contacts can be combined according to Table 1.
The vulnerable parts of the whole contactor are characterized by simple disassembly and easy maintenance.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the ambient temperature limit for operating CJ12 series AC contactors?
The normal ambient air temperature should be within the range of -5°C to +40°C. Additionally, the average temperature over a 24-hour period must not exceed +35°C.
Can the CJ12 series contactors be installed in environments with high humidity?
Yes, but with limitations. At the maximum temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%. Higher humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (for example, 90% at 20°C). Special precautions should be taken to prevent condensation caused by temperature fluctuations.
What is the difference between the CJ12 and the derived CJ12Z series?
The main difference lies in the magnetic system. While the standard CJ12 series uses an AC magnetic system, the derived CJ12Z series utilizes a DC magnetic system. Additionally, the CJ12Z series body pre-occupies a pair of normally closed auxiliary contacts for current specifications up to 400A.
Are these contactors suitable for applications with heavy vibration?
No. According to the installation conditions, the contactors must be installed and operated in environments free from obvious shaking, impact, and mechanical vibration.
What type of arc extinguishing design is used in the CJ12 series?
The main contact system of the contactor utilizes a single breakpoint rotating structure combined with a clay arc extinguishing chamber that features longitudinal slits to ensure excellent arc extinguishing performance.
