Type and Meaning
The auxiliary code is composed of 5 parts, which are selected in the following order as needed:
Part 1: “y” means general type, “N” (can be omitted) means reversible type.
Part 2: 1 digit is used to indicate the number of poles of the main circuit: 3 and 4 respectively indicate 3 and 4 poles (3 can be omitted).
Part 3: 2 digits are used to indicate the highest rated working voltage: "06" (can be omitted) indicates 690V, "11" indicates 1140V.
Part 4: Indicates the rated control power supply voltage: "Ac" for alternating current 50Hz and "Dc" for direct current. The voltage value follows the letters (“AC380” can be omitted).
Part 5: Letter "□" and two digits indicate the type and number of auxiliary contacts (1st digit: NO auxiliary contacts, 2nd digit: NC auxiliary contacts; “□42” can be omitted).
Note: This item includes two parts (main contacts & auxiliary contacts) indicated by numbers as shown in the diagram: (-□□-□□) indicates: - number of NO main contacts, number of NC main contacts - number of NO auxiliary contacts, number of NC auxiliary contacts.
Normal Working Conditions and Installation Conditions
Altitude: The altitude of the installation site should not exceed 2000m.
Ambient Temperature: Ambient air temperature should be between -5℃ and +40℃.
Relative Humidity: Air relative humidity should not exceed 50% at +40℃. Higher humidity is allowed at lower temperatures. In the wettest month, the average minimum temperature should not exceed +20℃ with a maximum average relative humidity up to 90%. Measures should be taken against condensation caused by temperature changes.
Installation Inclination: Inclination between the installation surface and vertical plane should not exceed ±5°.
Pollution Level: Level 3.
Vibration: The product should be installed in a place without obvious shaking, impact, and vibration.
Structural Features of the Product
CJ40-63~1000 AC contactor adopts an oven type, normal installation, direct acting, and double breakpoints structure. The auxiliary contacts are installed on both sides of the main contact as independent components which are electrically separated. The iron core features a U-shaped structure with a permanent air gap. The base of CJ40-630A and above is made of aluminum alloy die-casting installed by screws; while the base of CJ40-63~125 is made of unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced molding compound, which can be installed by screws or by “TH75” guide rail. Featuring high breaking capacity and high reliability, the arc extinguishing chamber is constructed from arc-resistant plastic and iron grid.
