Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What do the auxiliary contact codes "10", "01", and "11" represent for CJX2 contactors?
For models rated at 32A and below, "10" indicates three normally open (NO) main contacts and one NO auxiliary contact, while "01" indicates three NO main contacts and one normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact. For models rated at 40A and above, "11" indicates three NO main contacts, one NO auxiliary contact, and one NC auxiliary contact.
Q2: What are the standard ambient temperature limits for installing CJX2 series AC contactors?
The ambient air temperature must be maintained within the range of -5℃ to +40℃. Additionally, the average temperature over a 24-hour period should not exceed +35℃ to ensure proper operation.
Q3: How does altitude affect the installation of CJX2 AC contactors?
CJX2 series AC contactors are designed to operate under normal atmospheric conditions at an altitude of not higher than 2000 meters. Installation above this altitude may require derating due to changes in air density and cooling capacity.
Q4: What is the maximum allowable relative humidity for safe operation?
At the maximum temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permitted (for example, up to 90% at 20℃). Special precautions should be taken to prevent condensation caused by temperature variations.
Q5: What installation physical conditions must be met for these contactors?
The inclination between the contactor's installation surface and the vertical plane must not exceed ±5°. The device should also be installed in a location free from significant shaking, external impact, and structural vibration.
Q6: What is the difference in contact designation between small and large capacity CJX2 contactors?
For smaller CJX2 contactors (09A to 95A), the naming convention adopts the number of auxiliary contacts. For larger capacity contactors (115A to 800A), the naming convention adopts the number of poles.
