Limit Switch LX10 - Reliable End Point Protection for Cranes from China Suppliers and Factory, IP44 Rated, IEC Certified
Advantage
All products of the company can be customized for production according to user usage scenarios.
Working conditions
The travel switch can work reliably under the following conditions:
- The altitude does not exceed 1000m;
- The ambient medium temperature should not exceed +40℃ and not be lower than -30℃ (when the temperature is lower than -15℃); the relative humidity of the air should not be higher than 85%.
- The friction parts should be coated with non-freezing lubricating oil.
The limit switch is suitable for working under the following conditions:
- In an environment containing gas vapor or dust that corrodes metals and insulation;
- In an environment containing conductive dust;
- Places with severe vibrations and violent ups and downs.
Classification
The travel switch is divided into six types according to the type of operating arm:
- LX10-1□: Adopts single roller lever operating arm, which is used for translation mechanism with small inertial travel.
- LX10-2□: Adopts double roller fork lever operating arm, which is used for translation mechanism with large inertial travel.
- LX10-3□: Adopts heavy hammer load lever operating arm, used to limit the travel of the lifting mechanism.

Construction Introduction
The casing of the travel switch is made of different materials due to different protection forms. The protective casing is made of steel plate, and the waterproof casing is made of cast iron. Its appearance is shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1: LH0932G Travel Switch Appearance
A contact group (2) is installed in the travel switch housing, and the moving contact and the stationary contact thereof drive the cam on the switch shaft (4) to open and close the contacts as the operating arm (3) rotates. The positioning of the operating arm is achieved by means of a positioning member (5), a positioning spring (6), a positioning lever (7) and a roller (8).
Use and maintenance
The closing condition of the contact can be changed by changing the position of the cam on the shaft. When modifying, the bearing sleeve on the housing must be removed first, then the shaft is pulled out and the cam position is changed. The closing table of various types of stroke opening magnets is shown in the figure.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Can the travel switches be customized for specific applications?
Yes, all products of our company can be customized and produced according to the user's specific usage scenarios.
Q2: What are the ambient temperature requirements for these travel switches?
The ambient medium temperature should not exceed +40℃ and should not be lower than -30℃ (especially when the temperature is lower than -15℃). The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 85%.
Q3: What is the maximum switching frequency and mechanical life?
The switching frequency should not exceed 150 times per hour. The mechanical life is not less than 1,000,000 times at an operating frequency of 400/hour.
Q4: How are the travel switches classified based on the operating arm?
They are classified into types like LX10-1 (single roller lever for small inertial travel), LX10-2 (double roller fork lever for large inertial travel), and LX10-3 (heavy hammer load lever for limiting lifting mechanism travel).
Q5: How do you adjust the contact closing conditions of the switch?
You can change the closing condition by adjusting the position of the cam on the shaft. To do this, first remove the bearing sleeve on the housing, pull out the shaft, and then change the cam position.
